On Saturday, May 5th, we have an open house planned that is devoted to celebrating all things floral! Join us from 10am until 6pm to learn more about how to plant, grow, arrange, and decorate with flowers!

Many of our merchants have surprises planned for you throughout the day, but here are a few examples of what you’ll be able to find:

Sharon, of Sparrow & Spoke, is our expert gardener at The Emporium. Sharon has short informational sessions planned for guests all day. Topics such as how to dead-head a hanging basket, planning your garden and seed selection, and what tools you really need to care for your garden are all topics she plans on exploring.

Pat from Wild Petals is a brilliant floral designer and home decorator. Pat is planning on dispensing her wisdom of how to use flowers to enhance a space and create the right energy and emotion you want to convey in a space. Rumor has it that Emporium owner, and fellow interior designer, Greg, may also join Pat with instructing guests on how to use flowers and floral arrangements to enhance one’s home.

Sue from Petals has been creating silk floral arrangements for over 40 years. Come watch Sue assemble silk florals into various containers and ask her for help with assembling your own using her loose stems!

Emily of Relics Prop Shop was raised by florists. From a young age, Emily was instilled with a love of flowers and living things. Join Emily to glean tips and tricks for assembling and decorating with flowers – both silk and real!

Farmgirl Foods has been collaborating with Sparrow & Spoke to bring you a homegrown salad complete with a vinaigrette made with oil, vinegar, mustard and spices found in her shop.

Many of our other merchants have smaller celebrations of flowers planned. From sampling soap and lotion to showcasing floral fashion, we encourage you to come join us for our first ever Floral Fair Open House!
