Cindy loves to paint and has a passion for painting local landmarks and historic buildings in her hometown of Castle Rock. She sells original paintings and limited edition, hand signed and numbered Giclee’ prints. She offers collectible ornaments and notecards for the holidays. She  also does commissions and teaches watercolor classes online.

 Beautiful color and water! What could be more exciting?! Cindy enjoyed painting with watercolor in art school in her teens. However, she majored in graphic design and didn’t paint again until she rediscovered her love of it in 2007. Having worked with a number of different media, she found watercolor to be the most exciting and challenging in mingling colors, mixing of water and paint, pouring and masking. There’s always something new to discover. She paints from her own photographs. Her passion is color and creating an image that excites the viewer with beautiful hues while maintaining realism. The image must be something that stirs an emotion or a memory for Cindy, and hopefully, for her viewers.

Cindy has a passion for preserving history through art. She loves painting historic landmarks and old buildings, especially in her hometown of Castle Rock. She’s a Colorado native who moved to Castle Rock in the mid 1980’s. The change and growth excites her, but it is equally important to remember our past and preserve it for the next generations. She hopes that her paintings will capture a moment in time to celebrate the rich history which brought us where we are today. One of Cindy’s greatest joys is when another person connects with her art and purchases it to enjoy at home.
