THE BEGINNING
Originally the Castle Rock Feed and Supply Company, the Boman family of Castle Rock purchased the building in 2012 to start The Emporium with twelve merchants. The Bomans envisioned a community-involved, high-end merchant mall where families of multiple generations could shop together.
The Emporium supports the dream of more than 60 local small businesses by connecting the surrounding community to their unique products
The Tradition Continues
In 2020, The Emporium was purchased by Sedalia residents Mike and Andrea Slattery. The Slatterys have been customers of The Emporium for years and are proud to continue the quality, tradition, and family-owned heritage The Emporium offers to the community.
Mike and Andrea love the town of Castle Rock and are proud to be The Emporium owners. With family being front and center, they hope their four girls will participate in The Emporium’s operation one day.
The Slatterys own Kiana Creek Equestrian Center. They are supporters of the 4-H youth development organization, and Andrea is a 4-H leader and kids’ horse lesson trainer. Mike is on the CALF Foundation (Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation) board and is a local volunteer firefighter.
We hope you feel at home the moment you step in The Emporium
