Dale Oliver is an entrepreneur by nature. He is a right brain dominant, ambidextrous artist who is fueled with an intrinsic desire to take ideas that already exist, and create his own elevated works of art. After migrating from Arizona to Colorado in 2015 to be closer to family and grandkids, Dale noticed that Coloradans were very zealous about their state flag; but he thought local artisans did not do it justice. So in 2017, Dale began working in his home studio to create a higher quality rustic style Colorado flag.  His distinctive was the handpainted, snow capped mountain range on every design. A year or so later, he launched his website oliversgallery.net, first retail location, and recruited his 12 year old grandson, Gabriel, to help meet the growing demand.   

With the addition of an Etsy store and a couple retail locations, there are now over 18,100 pieces of custom art hanging on walls in every corner of the country.  He still hand paints the detail of the snow capped mountains that his flags and ornaments have become known for.  In addition to the original Rustic laser cut flag, he has added a  Contemporary and Natural Wood line, plus an Artist style.  His customers have expanded to include realtors, local military bases and ornament stores.  

From flags to key holders, coat racks and welcome signs, his wheels keep turning out new variations.  In 2020, he launched his own line of Colorado Christmas Ornaments which has evolved into his major focus with five styles and over 50 Colorado themed options to choose from.  He has expanded his original ornament designs to include a 3 layer Deluxe assortment, and a new Photo series of popular Colorado places and wildlife. 

This year he added the most distinctive and exciting of all, the “Light Catcher” assortment. These transparent designs allow the light from your tree lights to shine through the ornament creating a colorful, translucent effect.  Every laser cut piece is hand painted making the Light Catcher series a truly unique, heartwarming special addition to any Christmas tree.
