Welcome to Kiana Creek Ranch Eggs
From Coop to Carton:
Sage’s eggs is a local business in Sedalia, CO run by the 4 sisters of Kiana Creek Ranch. It started out as a Douglas County 4-H project raising chickens for fair. Once the girls realized many people were looking for farm fresh, organic fed, free range eggs, they hatched a few more hens to increase flock numbers and started selling eggs to the community. They gather eggs every morning before school and creatively organize the beautiful rainbow of colors into cartons. Some of the breeds of chickens they raise include: Copper Marans, Ameraucanas, White Leghorns, Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Orpingtons, and Olive Eggers. These chickens spend their day outdoors exploring through the chicken tunnels set up around the perimeter of the garden, eating bugs. Their eggs were entered into the Douglas County Fair and received a blue ribbon for their freshness and yolk quality. We hope you enjoy eating them as much as our family does, knowing that these chickens are well cared for and sustainably raised on our ranch as part of a whole regenerative system.
