The Branded Vaquero is the perfect place to find unique classic retro western apparel, home decor, accessories, and so much more!! Our goal is to make sure our products not only enhance your wardrobe, but are pieces you would wear on an everyday basis. Whether you are working on the ranch or headed into town, our products are sure to fit the modern-day cowgirl or cowboy. 

Meet the owner/founder 

Christine here! I am a Southwest-raised cowgirl. I was born in Arizona, where I spent the first 10 years of my life. Nothing beats an Arizona desert sunset, that is for sure. I then moved to California, where my love of the western industry, fashion, and lifestyle became a part of me. I fell in love with the sport of rodeo and keeping our western heritage alive! I enjoyed being a rodeo queen and also showing reining and cutting horses.  

I graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a Bachelor’s in Early Education. Shortly after I realized my passion for Western fashion, it could not be ignored. I worked for Justin Boots at the 2013 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, and I was hooked. In 2014, I moved to Denver to work for Cinch Jeans on their marketing and sales team. I enjoyed being able to travel the country, visiting western stores and working events.  

I reside on my family’s ranch in Larkspur, Colorado, with my husband. I started The Branded Vaquero in 2019 as a mobile boutique traveling to western events around the country. As I still continue to hit the rodeo trail, I have loved being able to put down roots at The Emporium. BV has grown from not only men’s and ladies’ western fashion, to now offering a large variety in children’s western clothing.
